Mohammed BAKKOURY holds a DVM degree from the Vet School in Rabat-Morocco (July 1980). He pursued graduate studies in Veterinary Biology at the University of Minnesota, USA (July 1983 - March 1986) and advanced studies in administrative Management (1997-1998).
Faculty member (1980-1994) and later Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs (1994-31 December 2006 at the Hassan II Institute of Agronomy and Veterinary Medicine (Morocco).
He served one term as Executive Secretary (1997-2001) of the veterinary regulatory body of Morocco (Ordre National des Vétérinaires du Maroc) and is President of the National Veterinary Association of Morocco (2003-2017).
He worked for the US Peace Corps during summer time (1990-1991), chaired the 9th World Equine Veterinary Congress (WEVA2006, Marrakesh-Morocco) and became Secretary of WEVA (2008-2011).
From 2007 to present: owner and manager of AGRI-BYS, a scientific editing company and works mainly with the Academy of Science and Technology of Morocco.
Fluent writing, reading and speaking of French, English and Arabic languages.
Medium level fluency of the Spanish language.
