Degree: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) Recognition status: EAEVE,RCVS Website: http://www.fmvb.ro Veterinary medical education in our country was influenced early medical and veterinary medical education in other countries, mainly from the Austro-Hungarian Empire, then in France and Germany, where studies have followed most of our teaching staff at that time and where some of them were granted the title of Doctor Honoris Causa, or have been elected to join the French and German Academies. The first forms of veterinary education, elementary or environment related health education were provided by different laws in 1831 (for a veterinary school) and 1832 (veterinary art course - that the Organic Statute). Since 1990 began renovating old buildings, and in parallel with restoration activities have found ways to resume educational activities in the old school. The socioeconomic conditions of heavy college campus has continued to modernize the standards set by the European Community, in addition to renovations being built and other important facilities - Pavilion Clinics (1997), Veterinary Hospital (2000). Same was done optimizing curricula and syllabuses and were diverse forms of training (Postgraduate School, Master). Over time evolution of veterinary education in our school has followed closely the accumulation global scientific and political-economic transformation of each step taken by the Romanian society. "Alma mater" of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Romania in 2004 presents you as a mature structure, supple, open to further harmonization with local development and European education profile. Progressive spirit of those who served the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine over the times, was crowned in 2002, the FMV Bucharest was listed as Faculty of Veterinary Medicine accredited European EAEVE (Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Association in Europe), the body officially mandated by the European Community to develop veterinary medical education. Prestigious recognition, which stands Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest, with only 29 other colleges of its kind in Europe (of 96), which is objective and has devoted the last 10 years of faculty development strategy. European recognition is however far point "terminus", but rather engages Faculty of Veterinary Medicine via continuous accumulation and the rate at the conceptual level and structure for maintaining this status and thus to form a veterinarian competitive domestic and international . Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Bucharest is located in the city, in Splaiul Independentei 105, sector 5, 8 km from campus USAMVB the avenue Marasti 59. Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Bucharest in Romania is one of the universities which train specialists in veterinary medicine, including "Full Faculty evaluated and approved" by the European Association of Faculties of Veterinary Medicine (EAEVE - www.eaeve.org, organization that has a mandate European Commission official for coordinating and developing the European Veterinary Education Assessment.
