The merger serves quality assurance in research, instruction and service as well as Switzerland�??s international competitive capability in veterinary medicine. Curriculum and planning of a course of studies Information on the course of studies can be found under Curriculum and directly at the two locations BE and ZH. The new Vetsuisse curriculum uses the advantages of horizontal and vertical integration of subject matter and is compatible with the Bologna Accord, with achievement of a Bachelor�??s degree after three years and a subsequent two-year Master�??s level. The curriculum in Bern and Zurich is uniform and practice-related. In the fourth and fifth years of study a portion of instruction is taken in a selected area of concentration.
