Charles Sturt University - Animal and Veterinary Sciences
CSU's facilities for Animal and Veterinary Sciences are world class. Our veterinary clinical and pre-clinical facilities, veterinary teaching hospital, campus farms and equine centre ensure you have access to cutting edge equipment from the very start of your course, so you'll learn by actually doing the work you'll do as a professional. In addition to practical opportunities on campus, you could undertake a work placement or head off on international study programs, like saving bears in Cambodia.
CSU's courses in the Animal and Veterinary Sciences are unique in their strong focus on rural practice, although graduates will also be equipped to work in metropolitan areas.
You can also choose from postgraduate study options to specialise in your practice or explore a personal interest, like birds or captive animals.
