Animal Welfare free online course
The Jeanne Marchig International Centre for Animal Welfare Education Royal School of Veterinary Studies (University of Edinburgh) is launching online MOOC (Massive Open Access Course)
starting on Monday the 14th July lasting for 5 weeks. It includes short videos, interactive packages, links, resources and quizzes and can be accessed on computers, smart phones, iPads etc. People can sign up and then dip in and out when they have time over the 5 weeks and then they have access to the material after that. The aim is to provide credible information about what animal welfare is, why it matters, how its measured and also to discuss the main issues faced by for animals all over the world.
We have over 24,000 people from 152 countries signed up already and we would love to have many more!
