Nigerian Veterinary Medical Association parleys with British Veterinary Association
Nigerian Veterinary Medical Association seeks collaboration with British Veterinary Association.
A delegation of Nigerian Veterinary Medical Association (NVMA) led by
the National President, Dr Gani Enahoro visited the Secretariat of British
Veterinary Association (BVA) at Mansfield Street, London on Tuesday, September
The team was hosted by secretarial staff and Dr Robin Hargreaves, NBA President-Elect who would be taking over the reins of leadership in a few days time.
The meeting was held to promote the collaboration between the two professional associations in other to enhance content and appreciation of varieties of their practices in the different environments of their operation and to encourage annual professional exchange program between their members.
NVMA members also yearned for access into the highly enriched on-line Clinical and Non-Clinical Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses of BVA for a more effective veterinary services delivery in Nigeria.
NVMA President used the opportunity to pay glowing tributes to the British Veterinarians that served in Nigeria during the colonial era and who laid the foundation of the profession in Nigeria.
NVMA would commemorate the Golden Jubilee in November 2013 through various activities lined up between November 11 and 15, 2013.
The President World Veterinary Association (WVA) Dr Faouzi Kechrid and several dignitaries in the veterinary profession worldwide would be attending the events scheduled to hold in Nigeria's capital city of Abuja. Find attached pictures taken during the visit.
