The 31ste World Veterinary Congress opened its doors!
This morning the 31st World Veterinary Congress, marking the 150th Anniversary of the World Veterinary Organisation started off in Prague, the beautiful capital of the Czech Republic.
The World Veterinary Congress is organised every two years and gives the opportunity to veterinarians from all over the world to network and learn from each other. After an opening ceremony, participants had to make the difficult choice on which lecture to select from the 10 parallel streams ranging from species streams (canine, feline, bovine, aquatic, porcine, equine or exotic) to animal welfare and veterinary well-being. The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) also held a scientific colloquium on preparedness in Animal Health.
