Take a Bite Out of Lyme Disease – An initiative by Ross University, One Health Club

Are you up for a challenge? Want to challenge someone else? This June, the One Health Club at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine (RUSVM) challenges you to “Take a Bite Out of Lyme Disease"

The Challenge follows three easy steps:

--- 1. TAKE A BITE ---- 2. SHARE A FACT ---- 3. PASS IT ON ---

Lyme is a zoonotic disease, represented in over 80 countries worldwide.  Many infected people never knew they were bitten, and less than half develop the tell-tale rash. Unfortunately, Lyme disease that goes undiagnosed/untreated can cause debilitating symptoms that resemble other diseases.

So, read the fact sheet; you may be surprised.  Then, take the challenge!  It’s easy, it helps educate others about Lyme Disease, and it’s fun to see the faces your friends will make when eating limes!
