Over 7,300 participants made their way to the “Live Music Capital of the World.” to join the AVMA Convention of 2024, between 21st and 25th of June. Dr de Jong made a compelling speech highlighting the link between AVMA and WVA and their joint efforts to improve the veterinary profession. The HoD was chaired by the new AVMA President Dr Sarah Faeh, serving alongside her are President-Elect is Dr. Michael Bailey, and the new Vice President Dr. Garry Marshall.
The next AVMA Convention takes place in Washington DC from 18th to 22nd of July 2025 and is a very special year as AVMA will be hosting the 40th World Veterinary Association Congress (WVAC), bringing together the global veterinary community for an experience unlike any other.
