The World Veterinary Association (WVA) One Health Education Subgroup is offering a unique opportunity for a current PhD candidate whose thesis involves the analysis of Planetary Health and/or One Health education.
We invite applications from PhD candidates to join a global team of experts from leading organisations, including the World Veterinary Association (WVA), World Association for Disaster and Emergency Medicine, International Veterinary Students Association, Planetary Health Alliance, International Council of Nurses, World Medical Association, The Global Consortium on Climate and Health Education, and others.
This collaborative project aims to drive meaningful change in the teaching of Planetary Health and One Health in universities worldwide. The initiative brings together a diverse set of global health-related professional associations and presents a valuable opportunity to influence the future of education in these critical areas.
Eligibility:
- You must be currently enrolled in a PhD program.
- Your PhD research should focus on the analysis of formal Planetary Health and/or One Health education.
- While applicants from various disciplines are encouraged, there is no requirement to have a background in nursing, medicine, or veterinary science.
