The KVMA’s commitment to innovation in animal health

6th International Congress of Large Animal Practitioners in Iran

On 24-25 December 2023, the 6th International Congress of Large Animal Practitioners took place in Tehran, Iran, and had 400 attendees. The congress was held in partnership with the Iranian Association of Veterinarians and covered all aspects of bovine and equine practice and medicine.

Vets for Climate Action, a voice for all animals In August 2019, an Australian veterinarian called Jean Kessel posted a question to a Facebook group: “Will you join me in starting Vets for Climate Action? If not you, then who? If not now, then when? We have ten years to take impactful climate action.” Today, Vets for Climate Action (VfCA) is a charity registered in Australia with the vision of a world where animals and people thrive in a healthy climate and the purpose to lead those who love, care for and work with animals to act urgently on climate change.

Asia United for Animal Health and Welfare – The 22nd FAVA Congress to WVA

The Federation of Asian Veterinary Associations (FAVA) Congress 2023 was successfully held at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK), Sarawak, Malaysia, with the theme "Asia United for Animal Health and Welfare." The event took place from November 3-5, 2023, and attracted a total of 823 delegates from 15 countries, including Japan, Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Korea, Singapore, Netherlands, United States, Brunei, Taiwan, Vietnam, Yemen, Myanmar, India, and Malaysia.
