On 19th September 2013, following the WVA PA 2013, the WVA celebrated its 150th Anniversary. The event was opened by a performance reproducing the first World Veterinary Congress which was held in Germany in 1863. Different international organization representatives congratulated the WVA for its 150th Celebration.
